Rick’s Cancer Walk Page

Dear Friends,

I started walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk in 2007, about 18 months after my first wife lost her battle with this horrible disease. I walk in memory of her. I also walk in honor of my second wife who is a breast cancer survivor. I have walked eight times since then (missing a year in 2014 because I was recovering from a stroke) and will be walking my ninth time in Philadelphia this October.

I am a Sixty Mile Man, which means I posed for a calendar, I am Mr. July 2012 (you can check it out at their web site).

Last year during the walk I had the opportunity to meet an impressive group — Men With Heart. I decided to join the group this year to help.

I am amazed at the number of dedicated people that are involved in the effort to find a cure. I am humbled and proud to have the friendship of many of them. I would like to ask if you would consider a donation to help combat the disease.
